Paulding Drive Granola
 
I named this granola Paulding Drive after the street where my best friend Gayle lived growing up.
 
I spent most weekends at Gayle’s house. My dad would drop me off on Friday nights and I’d stay for the weekend. Her family became my second family.
 
There were always batches of homemade granola cooling on the counter before being scooped into a big glass jar, pool games in the living room, music playing, and long afternoons on the deck where we thought baby oil was a perfectly reasonable sunbathing choice. The 80s really were the best.
 
This Daisy Bakes granola is inspired by those memories on Paulding Drive. It’s made with sourdough starter, rolled oats, honey, coconut, cashews, pepitas, cinnamon, vanilla, and Montmorency dried tart cherries. Crunchy, golden, lightly sweet, and made to be kept close by.
 
Enjoy it with yogurt, sprinkle it over ice cream, add it to fruit, or eat it by the handful.
 
Each 10 oz bag is heat sealed for freshness and ships beautifully.
