Jules’ PB Crunch Cookie w/ Dark Chocolate
After requesting a peanut butter cookie, Jules added one more thing: dark chocolate. She especially loves Trader Joe’s dark chocolate peanut butter cups, so this version was made with her favorite combination in mind.
The same peanut butter cookie—made with smooth peanut butter, roasted peanuts, honey, dark brown sugar and sourdough base—is topped partway through baking with chopped 70% dark chocolate. It melts into a layer across the top rather than being mixed throughout the dough. Finished with flaky salt.
