Highway 1
 
This cookie was named after Highway 1 in Northern California, especially the stretch between Big Sur and Carmel. I recently completed the Big Sur Marathon . The sweet represents the gorgeous scenery and the tart, well, the very long uphills! The oats are the sturdy highway winding along the coast. 
 
This yummy cookie is made with two types of oats, brown butter, dried tart cherries and lots of chocolate chunks. You'll love the sweet and tart contrast!
