We’ve been buying praline pecans from Farmer Joe’s stand since we moved to Savannah in 2021. It suddenly hit me…
 
Why not make a cookie with them?
 
I walked right over and asked if I could name a cookie after him. He was so thrilled. I told him I was thinking dark chocolate chunks, and he said any kind of chocolate will do — a man after my own heart.
 
These cookies celebrate Farmer Joe, and they make me smile. He brings so much joy to everyone who stops by his stand. I hope it brings some of that your way, too.
 
Brown butter dough with a hint of cinnamon, filled with praline pecans and dark chocolate chunks, then topped with chopped praline pecans and flaky salt.
